What Separates TSC Apart From Other Organizations

Bruce Houser, President - Bruce spent 22 years as an officer in the US Army.  During much of that time he served in Security Assistance assignments working with indigenous personnel in many foreign countries. After his distinguished military career Bruce worked in private business as a Vice President of an Engineering firm for eight years. Following that Bruce started his own business providing professional and technical services to the US Government.  After taking a break from business to care for his aging mother until her death, Bruce, found he had time to give back. He went as a volunteer to Thailand to teach English.  This planted the seed and later Bruce instituted a program for service and learning in Thailand.  

Bruce is married to Rasameeboon  (Tong) Houser and they have a son Neungphuumin.  They split their time between El Paso, Texas and Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

Acharawan (Att), is an English teacher. Att has been teaching for more than 20 years and recently completed her Masters degree in Education. Boonprasert (Sert), her husband is retired and was the former Director of Public Relations for the Ministry of Education- Primary. Att and Sert, secure project placements and home-stays for each TSC team member in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, and various Wats and other Thai government organizations.

Naree (Nhing), is an Assistant at the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education. She has 24 years teaching experience at the college level, in management, marketing, math and English. Sumitra (Jing), received her degree in Information Technology and serves as a Junior Administrative officer in a private business. Nhing, and Jing, support the arrival and reception of all TSC team members and their initial orientation and touring.

Paeng, was graduated from  the University of the Chamber  of Commerce  Thailand, with a major in  Business, finance and a minor in English-Faculties of Humanities.  Her home is Kanchanaburi and she lives in Bangkok during the week .  She works in the finance office at the municipal electric office in Bangkok.  Bang, facilitates the travel of TSC team members from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, and escorts team members on the Jungle safari day.

Nuttarada (Tan) was graduated from King Mongkut's institute of Technology Ladkrabang with a bachelor degree in Science. She has been a professor, for science, geography and English for seven years at Kanchanaburi College of Agricultural and Technology.  In her free time Tan also teaches inmates at the local prison in an outreach program.. Tan has traveled to the USA. She is responsible for all TSC marketing projects and initiatives. Additionally, Tan acts as a team coach and mentor for TSC Team volunteer participants.

Weena (Keow) is a professor for  computer science and information technology at Kanchanaburi College of Agricultural and Technology. She has taught at the college for three years. Keow was graduated from Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University in Computer Science. She is responsible for the TSC web design and architecture and is a team coach for TSC Team volunteer participants.
