HOW YOU CAN VOLUNTEER
If you are
18 or over, you should begin the application process 90-120 days prior to
your desired start date. Complete an application and send it to the
TSC office. It also helps if you call the TSC office or send an
e-mail requesting for us to call you. It is always good to talk
things over with a real person in addition to the many e-mails. Many times
a short telephone conversation can replace 4 or 5 e-mails and days of
waiting.
After
your application has been received TSC will contact you and request that
you complete a Personal Background Information Form, provide the photo
page of your passport and a copy of your resume. Then, the only
remaining administrative item is for you to send your flight arrival
details.
As a
TSC Team member you will work side by side with Thais as you seek to help
empower Thai children, women and men. We hope that you will impact
many Thais that you contact. However, if you only reach a small
number as opposed to the entire class you will have achieved.
Our
projects are characterized by Education, Healthcare and Buddhist Cultural
Traditions. However, beyond the core of these projects we also receive
many requests from Thai government offices to assist in English language
speaking and conversation.
