WELFARE SCHOOL KANCHANABURI
Supportive Education
School, at Panomthuan, is the first establishment of this kind under the
jurisdiction of Special Education Division, General Education Department,
Ministry of Education Founded on May 1, 1953 and it focuses on educational
administration for the poor and for the children short of educational
opportunity. It aims at enhancing the equality of educational opportunity among
the Thai citizens. It is a boarding school with co-ed students, totally
supported by the government, from the elementary to the lower secondary level.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants who are
required for enrollment according to the Primary Education Law and Lack
education opportunity.
- Priority goes to the
children living in remote areas, in the woods, on the hills, on the islands,
in the rugged environments far away from convenient transportation. It also
goes to orphans without a patron and the paupers.
SCHOOL OBJECTIVES:

To give assistance to the educationally occasional lacking students who
cannot afford normal school, to further their studies until they achieve certain
levels of education as offered by the welfare school in which they have
registered.

To offer courses of study to the students to enhance their vocational
knowledge and skills as their vocational foundation.

To enhance the conscience and morality of the students as well as the
knowledge and understanding of the values of the Thai culture and Thai social
customs, nationally and locally and their awareness of the preservation of the
culture and the customs.

To take good care of the students’ health, their living and to fulfill
their potentiality to the used for the development of their hometowns.
SCHOOL SERVICES:
